Hyderabad: City students hogged the limelight by securing ranks in top-10 in Eamcet Exam, including state first rank in medical category. The results were announced here on Wednesday. In engineering category, students of Sri Chaitanya Narayana created a record by bagging all the top-10 ranks, while in medical category, Narayana Sri Chaitanya students swept all the top-10 ranks.
All the top-20 ranks in both these categories were bagged by these two institutions alone. While three students from the city figured in the top-10 list in medical category, two students secured a place in top-10 in engineering category.
Hyderabad students ace Eamcet Exam It was a great day for the students in the city who bagged several ranks in Eamcet. In the medical category, Vaddavalli Venkata Vineeth, a resident of Jyothi Nagar, RC Puram, created a record by securing state first rank. He scored 158 marks out of 160.
The other toppers in this category were Surapaneni Pragna (9th rank with 155 marks), a resident of Dwarakapuri Colony, Panjagutta, and Sukumar Kalvapudi (10th rank with 155 marks), a resident of Ameerpet. In the engineering stream, Vemula Vamshi Krishna, a resident of Aravind Nagar in Ramanthapur, secured the 6th rank with 152 marks, while A. Ravi Chandra, a resident of Avanthi Nagar, Basheerbagh, got the 9th rank by scoring 151 marks.
The state topper in the engineering category was Pallerla Sai Sandeep Reddy, from Podili, in Prakasam district, who scored 154 marks out of 160. Sri Chaitanya group chairman B.S. Rao and Narayana group chairman Dr P. Narayana expressed happiness over the results.
They said that their main aim is to help Andhra Pradesh students get top ranks in the national and state competitive entrance examinations and secure the maximum number of seats in prestigious national institutions like IIT and AIIMS. They congratulated the students and teachers on their achievement and thanked the parents for reposing their faith in their institutions.
EAMCET COUNSELLING 2013 DATE(S)
As per the latest notifications released by the APSCHE, the first phase of admissions will be carried out in between 17th and 30th June, 2013 .
The second phase of admissions will be carried between 8th and 11th July, 2013.
The last date for admissions via EAMCET 2013 will be 30/07/2013.
As soon as the results of EAMCET 2013 will be declared, information regarding the EAMCET 2013 Counselling will be uploaded on the official website. The students are advised to remain in contact with the website for new updates.

EAMCET 2013 Counselling Procedure- Documents for Verification:
Students have to furnish the originals of the following:
- Marks Sheets for Class 12 or Intermediate or Equivalent qualifying exam
- Marks Sheet of Class 10 or equivalent
- Class VI to Class XII /Intermediate study certificate
- Income certificate which has been issued after January 1, 2013
- Caste Certificate if applicable
- PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority Certificate if applicable.
PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority Candidates will have to furnish the following in addition to the above mentioned documents:
- The PH-Certificate issued by the District Medical Board Note: Candidates with 40% and above disability are eligible under this category.
- CAP certificate has to be issued by the Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer.
- For students applying under the Ex-Service men category, the Identity card and Discharge book is a must for verification.
- Students whose parents are domicile of Andhra Pradesh will be considered under the CAP category only.
- Sportsperson and NCC students have to furnish original documents by certified authorities to support this.
- Students coming under the minority category should furnish the SSC TC with the Minority Status Certificatication from the Head Master.
- For Anglo-Indians, a certificate issued by the RDO/Asst. Collector of their place of Residence is a must.
