IIT JEE MAINS RESULTS:
The results of Joint Admission Test (JAM ) 2013 examination, conducted by Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT), has been announced. The candidates can be see the result on the JAM's official website: http://www.gate.iitd.ac.in/jam/index.html
Those who qualify will be allowed an entry into joint courses at PG level and above. The candidates will get an entry into M.Sc. (Two Year), Joint M.Sc. -Ph.D., M.Sc.- Ph.D. Dual Degree and other programmes offered at the IITs. Besides, they also get opportunity at the Integrated Ph.D. programmes at IISc (Indian Institute of Science).
The first admission list will be announced on May 31, 2013, followed by second list on June 24, 2013.
The M.Sc. (Two Year), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D, M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree and other post-bachelor's degree programmes at the IITs and the integrated Ph.D. programmes at IISc offer high quality education in their respective disciplines, comparable to the best in the world.
The curricula for these programmes are designed to provide the students with opportunities to develop academic talent leading to challenging and rewarding professional life.
The curricula are regularly updated at IISc, Bangalore & IITs. The interdisciplinary content of the curricula equips the students with the ability to utilize scientific knowledge for practical applications.
IIT-JEE MAINS RESULTS 2013:
Candidates who appeared for the IIT- JEE 2013 Joint EntranceExamination (Main) paper complained of errors in the paper contained. The errors could affect the students by 8- 20 marks.
This is the first-level test for entry into the Indian Institutes of Technology, the National Institutes of Technology and other centrally-funded institutes for engineering aspirants.
However, the exam-conducting body has so far denied all such claims.
Approximately 9 lakh students appeared for the JEE (Main).
The top 150,000 scorers in the exam will be called on June 2 to take the JEE Advanced, which is meant for admissions into prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
The results will be declared by May 7.
About 47,748 students had registered themselves to appear for the exam at Patna, followed by Kanpur from where 43,000 had registered.
The exam was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which will also evaluate candidates for admissions into BE, B.Tech and B.Arch courses in National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Delhi Technological University and other centrally-funded technical institute
